about

I’m Chrissy, a native New Yorker who lives and writes in coastal North Carolina. My writing has appeared in Joyland, Flyway, Necessary Fiction, The Boiler, Bodega, Heavy Feather Review, storySouth, and LIT, among others, and I’ve been honored to receive fellowships to the Weymouth Center, the Vermont Studio Center, and Aspen Summer Words. I earned my MFA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and now work as the Manager of Writing and Content Strategy at a global fintech company. (Yay, health insurance!) I also publish So Relatable, a bi-weekly newsletter that helps creative folks improve their craft, achieve their goals, and eat better snacks. You should definitely subscribe! Currently, I’m at work on a novel about insurance fraud and a short story collection about Long Island. I’m represented by Peter Steinberg of United Talent Agency.  In my non-writing life, I love library books, the YMCA, gardening, long emails, early mornings, and learning Italian.
